Survey on Mandatory Continuing Legal and
Judicial Education
The
email questionnaire, reaching attorneys’ emails in the coming months, will ask
for input on revising rule 260.

Summer 2013
In an effort to improve the rule on continuing legal
education, a subcommittee of the Board of Continuing Legal and Judicial
Education will send out a survey in the coming months seeking suggestions from
Colorado attorneys.
The short survey will ask lawyers how the Mandatory
Continuing Legal Education program can be improved to more effectively meet
their law practice needs.
In April, the Board appointed a subcommittee to review
Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure 260, which covers the administration of
continuing legal education. The rule hasn’t been significantly updated in approximately
30 years. The committee will use the survey results as it works to revise the
rule.
The survey will arrive in the next two months in an email
from the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel.
